Altınsoy Enerji established the Altınsoy Test Laboratory in 2018 in order to monitor and enhance the quality of its in-house developed products, improve existing product ranges, increase product safety, achieve international quality standards, gain presence in international markets, and strengthen its R&D activities.

In line with these objectives, the company initiated accreditation processes in 2020 to expand its existing laboratory and to elevate its operational validity to internationally recognized standards.

In 2021, Altınsoy Enerji applied for accreditation by TÜRKAK under the “TS EN ISO/IEC 17025” quality management standard and established its entire quality management system in compliance with this standard within the same year. At the end of October 2021, the company successfully passed its Initial Accreditation Audit, and as of the beginning of 2022, obtained the Accreditation Certificate No. AB-1686-T, officially commencing its type testing activities as an accredited laboratory.

Altınsoy Test Laboratory has successfully completed its internal growth targets and currently continues its accreditation activities with 21 different scopes and 72 different test methods, operating in full compliance with the principles of impartiality and confidentiality, without compromising on quality, and with the capability to deliver nationally and internationally valid and reliable test results in response to industry testing demands.

In line with the evolving needs of the industry, the laboratory will continue to sustain its development through ongoing Scope Expansion Activities.

Within the scope of testing activities, our primary objective is to deliver the fastest and most reliable results to our customers by applying national and international standards as well as in-house test methods in accordance with the TS EN ISO / IEC 17025 Quality Management Standard.
As an accredited laboratory originating from the production processes of many products used in the energy sector, we are able to better understand our customers’ manufacturing processes and provide high-quality testing services with rapid response capabilities.

Outside the scope of accreditation, shorter-term and practical solutions can be developed to accelerate our customers’ R&D and product development (R&D / P&D) activities. For test services requested outside the accredited scope, we possess the capability to design and manufacture the necessary equipment and devices in a short time, based on the relevant international standards or internal test methods, and to respond effectively to customer demands.

For test requests based on international standards currently outside the accreditation scope, we maintain the technical competence and expert personnel required to include these standards within the scope through scope extension activities and to subsequently issue accredited test reports.

Our current accreditation scope includes several IEC standards for which testing services are being conducted for the first time both domestically and internationally. In line with our customers’ needs, standards for which no prior testing activities have been conducted can be incorporated into our accreditation scope following detailed research and technical evaluations, enabling us to deliver effective and reliable solutions.

Altınsoy Energy established the Altınsoy Testing Laboratory in 2018 with the aim of:

  • Monitoring and improving product quality,

  • Enhancing innovative R&D activities and validating new products,

  • Increasing product reliability and ensuring compliance with specific standards,

  • Achieving the targeted quality level for its products,

  • Gaining a strong presence in national and international markets.

In line with these objectives, the company initiated accreditation activities in 2020 to expand its existing laboratory and elevate its operational validity to internationally recognized standards. As of the beginning of 2021, Altınsoy Energy applied for accreditation by TÜRKAK under the TS EN ISO/IEC 17025 Quality Management Standard and established its entire quality management system in accordance with this standard within the same year.

At the end of October 2021, the laboratory successfully passed its Initial Accreditation Audit, and as of February 2022, it obtained the Accreditation Certificate No. AB-1686-T, officially commencing its type testing activities as an accredited laboratory at international level.

Today, Altınsoy Testing Laboratory continues its accreditation activities with 21 different scopes and 72 different test method applications, operating fully in accordance with the principles of impartiality and confidentiality, without compromising on quality, and with the objective of delivering nationally and internationally valid and reliable test results.

It is essential that product testing practices are carried out within a defined discipline and that all applications are performed in accordance with the same standards. This is because national and international standards are defined for every manufactured product. Producing the same products in compliance with the same standards is of great importance for human health, environmental protection, and economic development.

Likewise, it is crucial that the measuring instruments used in product testing perform measurements in accordance with the same standards, so that the conformity of products to relevant standards can be evaluated accurately and reliably. Ensuring that products meet these standards should be regarded as a fundamental objective for a sustainable and livable world.

In order to achieve this objective, the following elements in standard-based product testing are considered the most critical factors for obtaining nationally and internationally valid and reliable test results for all laboratories:

  • Verification and calibration of the measuring equipment under defined conditions,

  • Management of testing processes in compliance with the relevant standards,

  • Recording, traceability, and continuity of all activities,

  • Application of all conformity criteria and supervision by an official authority (TÜRKAK),

  • Adoption and strict compliance with the principles of impartiality and confidentiality.

This system, which all laboratories must comply with by meeting the same fundamental conditions, is defined as the “Accreditation System”, and the fundamental standard of this system is:
